Another Sunday, another weekend of hockey. This weekend was a home cup game against Watsonians 3s who travel all the way from Edinburgh.
We were fortunate to have multiple subs and 2 goalies! It was Holly's first time in goals playing for Highland Ladies 2nds and what saves she did really well done! First half was tough with many short corners however they were well defended despite the pressure. Unfortunately end of first half ended in a 0-3 win to Watsonians 3s.
The girls did not let the score defeat them, they continued to put pressure on the opposition with intercepting the ball. Elaine and Alexis both made breakthroughs up in our forwards in the second half with strikes to the goal just hitting of the post and narrowingly missing!
Brilliant play by all players today, our team was well structured and every player fought for the ball and used all their skills they have learnt and practice which really showed today!
